Not sure why, but Martin put some pretty sweet features on this D-18 inspired model. For starters, all the wood used on the guitar has been certified by the Forestry Steward Council (FSC). European Spruce Top and Top bracing; Mahogany Back, Sides, and Neck; and a Katalox fretboard and Bridge. Then, they went with the very popular but not often used forward shifted bracing and 1 3/4 inch nut width. Love fingerpicking on a dreadnaught? Then that 1 3/4 inch nut is perfect for you.
