European Spruce Top - NICE! Forward Shifted X-Bracing - YES! 1 3/4 Inch Nut Width - YOUBETCHA! 3 Different types of FSC Certified Wood - Sure, why not. Not sure why, but Martin put some pretty sweet features on this D-18 inspired model. For starters all the wood used on the guitar has been certified by the Forestry Steward Council (FSC). European Spruce Top and Top bracing; Mahogany Back, Sides, and Neck; and a Katalox fretboard and Bridge. Then they went with the very popular but not often used forward shifted bracing and 1 3/4 inch nut width. Love fingerpicking on a dreadnaught, well then that 1 3/4 inch nut is purrrrfect for you. Hey like strumming hard too, this guitar can handle that so well, with headroom to spare. I know you're salivating just reading this, so why don't you just come in and play it already.
